Marissa + Tyler Wedding April 2017

The bright colors in the florals for this wedding, brought out a wonderful balance in the natural brick walls, and a wonderful contrast to the white wood work details. I absolutely loved all the shapes of these arrangements. Bright accents aren't my usual request, but I highly recommend it if your venue is a place where they can live well without too much competition with existing venue decor. Every table was a little different, and it was so pretty as an overall atmosphere for guests to walk into. Everything about this wedding felt warm and inviting. And every single flower was taken home after the wedding was over, which so rarely happens. But these were so beautiful to leave to die.

This art gallery wedding, which took place at the Long Beach Museum of Art was the type of dream wedding as a designer. With a slight Grecian theme, we included fig leaves, and simple draping into the decor. We also came up with 3 different design concepts for the various tables for variety. We wanted each arrangement to feel like it's own sculpture to fit in with the art aspect, but also tied in their own aesthetic into the decor. I loved how it all came together.

This year, I decided to take on the challenge of documenting my floral work on film at each of my weddings. This was the first of my spring season weddings to document at the wonderfully beautiful location The Inn of the 7th Ray in Malibu. You don't even feel like you are in Los Angeles with this creekside venue.
